Prism 4.0

I am getting lots of questions regarding Prism 4.0 (Composite Application Guidance for…). We will start working on this project as soon as the Web Client Guidance ships. So in preparation, we are now starting to gather requirements. I just created a discussion thread on codeplex to start gathering requirements - go check it out.

Schedule: Early Spring – Summer

Scope: We are considering the following for the release:

  • MEF Integration
  • ViewModel pattern
  • navigation
  • out of browser applications
  • developer/designer workflow
  • user experience patterns
  • visual studio templates
  • …a lot more

I will use this discussion thread as input to create a survey. This survey will be used to help prioritize the features. So let us know your thoughts on what should in the next release of Prism.
