WMF bug has been considered a not-so-serious bug by lots of antivirus vendors, because the nature of this bug not happening automatically before a user action. But the news hyped into lots of speculations and worries which made a public demand for a fix. Because of the priority of the bug, Microsoft made a due date of Jan 10th for a patch but still the mass pressured for a more earlier date and the result is now available.

WMF 버그는 사용자가 직접 열지 않으면 자동으로 실행되지 않기 때문에 많은 백신회사들에 의해 생각보다 심각하지 않은 버그로 등급이 매겨졌습니다. 하지만, 소식은 다양한 예상과 걱정으로 번져서 이에 대한 해결안을 빨리 내놓을 것을 요구받았습니다. 버그의 심각성이 낮기 때문에 마이크로소프트는 나름대로 1/10이라는 기한을 마련하고 패치를 내놓을 예정으로 발표를 했지만, 대중의 요구에 부응하여 더 빠른 날짜인 오늘 패치를 발표했습니다.
