Windows 8 Hackathon - Fame, riches or workplace glory could be yours!
We will be hosting a 24 hour Windows 8 hackathon the Monday of TechEd, from 11:30am on Monday 10 September to 12:00pm on Tuesday 11 September 2012. Myself, many of the Developer Platform Evangelism (DPE) team and a great group of mentors will be camping out to help you build the best apps you can in the 24 hours.

You can get skilled up in Windows 8 apps, brainstorm ideas and code like there’s no tomorrow. Our expert mentors will work with you as you build your own Windows 8 app intended for the Store, rather than playing with sample applications.

A ticket to the Windows 8 App Fest can be purchased at $165 inc GST, via the TechEd 2012 registration site. This ticket is available for individual purchase, as an additional extra to a delegate’s TechEd 2012 registration. Ticket entitles the purchaser entry to this session, which runs for 24 hours from 11:30am on Monday 10 September to 12:00pm on Tuesday 11 September 2012. Tickets to Windows 8 App Fest are limited.
