Yesterday, at the //Build/ conference, we announced the final release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 and Team Foundation Server 2015 Update 2. You can learn more at the following links:
We also released an early preview of Visual Studio “15”. We will not be releasing a preview of TFS “15” at this time. List with the 2015 release cycle, the best way to see what’s coming in TFS is to explore Visual Studio Team Services. We expect to release a preview of TFS “15” sometime this summer.
TFS 2015 Update 2 has a lot of major improvements to almost every area of the product. Some of the most prominent ones include Gated Checkin support for the new task based build system, the new task based Release Management service, on-premises Extensions support, cool new Test Results Reporting, lots of Agile Planning improvements and much more. I hope you really enjoy it.
Thanks to all of you who helped us find and fix issues during the release candidate process.
As always, we love to hear your feedback.
