There are a couple of new books out now – one on overall application lifecycle management with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server 2012 and the other a deeper drill into TFS. These were written by some of the best authors I know – combined they know as much about how to explain VS and TFS as any group of people I can imagine. I highly recommend these books if you really want to know how to get the most out of your ALM investment.

When are you going to write one? 🙂 Also, it looks like these won't be out until this Fall.
That isn't ever going to happen 🙂 The truth is that I get asked to write forwards/intros for books or to review them all the time and i just can't ever find the time to do it. Every once in a while I will but I'm so busy focusing on getting the product built, I just don't have time to write about it (other than the occasional blog post).

Amazon is showing that they are not released yet, but definitely looking forward to them coming available and adding them to the book shelf.
Books not out yet – is there pre-release versions of them?
The release dates say September & November on Amazon…are they available anywhere earlier??
Thanks.
I checked with Brian Keller and he said those dates are about right for availability. He's hoping it might be 1-2 weeks earlier than that but it's all under the control of the publisher.
