Dry spell

Brian Harry

It’s been a bit of a blogging dry spell for me the last couple of weeks and I think it’s going to continue to be for a bit longer.  Sorry about that.  It’s just been really hectic.  In a moment of insanity, I agreed to help someone work on a CodePlex project to hook TFS up to FrontPage server extensions so that you can use Visual InterDev with TFS.  The project has been created (but not published yet, I think) and I’ve uploaded the initial framework for the solution.  That accounts for several days over the last couple of weeks. In addition, I’m speaking at TechEd on Thursday and have been preparing for that and our yearly performance reviews are upon us.  All of this is conspiring to use up what little free time I usually have.  While I’m away, I recommend you checking out Sudhir’s blog.  He’s been doing a lot of interesting writing lately.  Sudhir owns the admin, setup and operations feature area for TFS. Speaking of dry spells, we’ve had a pretty good start at a drought here in North Carolina this past month or so.  We got our first major rainfall in quite a while this weekend (about 2 inches where we were) when a tropical storm went by.  Unfortunately it was the weekend I was camping with my son’s cub scout pack.  It rained all Saturday night and we had to break camp Sunday morning in the rain.  Made for a very wet experience 🙂  My son had a good time though – and that’s what really counts.
