Silverlight is here!


Ok, so I’ve been quiet, but I can explain it — I’ve been working really really hard on Silverlight and today is our big day!  Writing live from NAB, but this is big big big — read about the details on the links below, and stay tuned, this is only part of the fun, keep your eyes on MIX.

    I’m looking at the SDK for WPF/E, the media object specifically.  We use scriptcommands extensively with WinMedia player embedded in web pages.  Can we "listen" for them with Silverlights media player?

    You probably won’t approve this post but here it is…

    Silverlight appears to have nothing to do with ASP.net development.  This appears to be a designer’s tool.

    Th problem with most of this new technology is that MS keeps lumping all of the client side tools with the server tools and the server-side developer (READ asp developer)  is expected to learn all the client side tools.

    Not going to happen….
