| This is a scenario were data needs to be available on the Internet (or application may need to connect from the Internet to the DMZ) while it may be difficult to secure incoming connections from the Internet or having new adresses and ports opened. Having a DMZ hosted in Windows Azure makes this simpler because a number of means already exist to make connection between the Corporate Network and the DMZ available only thru outgoing connections, and obviously because the cloud platform is already available on the Internet, including for incoming connections. |
