BCS Team Channel: Creating an External Content Type in SharePoint Designer 2010

The BCS Team Channel has a new video in which we show you how in just a few minutes you can create an External Content Type using SharePoint Designer.     Excellent video. I like and very help full.

    I tried conect my SQLserver but when I created new external contect type I recieve mesegge

    Access denied by business Data Connectivity.

    I don’t what more I need to do for this work.

    Do you get this message when you want to save the external content type or when you are trying to view the list.

    In either case from the message you receive it looks like the user you are using to complete the task does not have the proper permissions in the BDC service. For more information on this check out Rob Silver’s permissions post:
