Release of SDK 2.3.311 and Runtime 5.3.311 for Windows

We have released a small update to our runtime and SDK, versions 5.3.311 and 2.3.311 respectively. Most importantly, this release resolves an SDK installation issue on Windows 10 Anniversary Update. You can find details of that and other resolved issues in the release notes.

Click here to install the update using the Web Platform Installer. Alternatively, the release notes include direct links to the installers on the Microsoft Download Center.

Cheers,
The Service Fabric Team

When I attempt to create a cluster or test a cluster configuration I get this error displayed below. I have recreated this on three different systems: one 2012 R2 and two 2016 servers. I have the runtime and the sdk installed.

I figured this out. You can't have the SDK and runtime installed on the machine you are trying to build the cluster on. Once I removed the SDK and the runtime it work.
