Microsoft collaborates with DCI to enhance CJIS compliance expertise

Rochelle M. Eichner

As more state and local governments look to centralize and adopt innovative productivity solutions across their various agencies, including the law enforcement and criminal justice community, the need to meet unique requirements like the Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Security Policy becomes increasingly important.

To further enhance its ongoing commitment to the law enforcement mission, Microsoft is collaborating with Diverse Computing, Inc. (DCI), a national leader in criminal justice software and compliance solutions. DCI’s CJIS Audit and Compliance Experts (ACE) Division provides real-world, law enforcement and criminal justice specific consulting expertise to Microsoft as we continue to develop product solutions for this unique community.

One of the areas Microsoft and DCI will be working together is advancing Microsoft’s hyper-scale computing solution, Azure Government, within the criminal justice and law enforcement communities—an area in which the CJIS ACE team provides valuable insight and expertise.

Beyond Azure Government, CJIS ACE will also be involved with Microsoft’s solution strategy, engagement with the regulatory community, partner eco-system, and other initiatives related to the criminal justice and law enforcement.
