Azure Content Spotlight – Azure Service Fabric Mesh (Preview)

Welcome to another Azure Content Spotlight! These articles are used to highlight items in Azure that could be more visible to the Azure community.

This week's content spotlight is about Azure Service Fabric Mesh, which is now in preview. Azure Service Fabric Mesh offers a fully managed service for developers to deploy microservices applications without managing the infrastructure, like storage, networking or virtual machines. It consists of clusters of thousands of machines and all of the cluster operations are hidden from the developer.

Thanks Sjoukje! Really looking forward to working with SF Mesh!

  2. I’ve been tracking this for a while now, and there are definitely some interesting features to it. At the core it is similar to Kubernetes in concept, but whereas a k8s configuration will require additional components to have a fully-featured setup more of this is included by default in SF Mesh.

Still an open question how this will play out once they get closer to GA 🙂
