AX Setup Error - System.IO.IOException: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Hi,

 

Today i was trying to reinstall AX on my VM, but setup failed and on checking the setup log found the below errors-

 FullText: System.IO.IOException: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Setup encountered an unhandled exception and could not be completed. For details see the previous messages in the log. === 

 I spent quite some time trying to figure out the issue and then thought of restarting the machine.

I found that some updates were pending, i clicked on Update and Restart the machine option and after restarting the machine the installation was successful.
