Doom 3: slated for release August 3. Woohoo!

I haven't seen this mentioned on any of the gaming sites yet, but it seems to have leaked out in an interview with the Rock, who might be playing the "Doom Guy" in an Doom upcoming movie.

Time to upgrade....

<update> It turns out that Gamespot reported the same date a while back so this apparently isn't really news. It was news to me though :) </update>
