Announcing SQL Server 2008 Release Candidate


On Tuesday June 10th, Bob Muglia will keynote TechEd IT Pro and highlight the investments the company is making to help businesses become more dynamic and agile to compete and grow in an increasingly global economy. He will also announce the public availability of SQL Server 2008 Release Candidate 0 (RC0). RC0 is the final step before SQL Server 2008 RTMs in Q3 of this year.

RC0 will be available for download Tuesday morning on Microsoft’s Download Center:

We are also happy to announce that SQL Server 2008 RC0 was made available Friday for early download by MSDN and TechNet Plus subscribers. After logging into their respective subscription accounts, subscribers can download SQL Server 2008 RC0 from the following links:
