Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 12/11 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 12/11, 12:35 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 12/11, 12:10 UTC and that during the 25 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, around 10% of customers experienced Data Access Issues in the Azure Portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
