Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 10/30 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/30, 22:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/30, 21:30 UTC and that during the 1 hour 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, around 10% of customers experienced data access issues in South Central.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues with the back-end storage service in the South Central region.
