Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 10/03 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/03, 20:44 UTC. Our logs show that  incident started on 10/03, 20:27 UTC and that during the 17 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, customers would have experienced errors loading data in Application Insights charts in Azure & Analytics portals.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to a configuration change in our backend service.
