We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/06, 04:00 UTC. Our logs show that the same incident happened in two intervals 07/06 02:13 UTC to 07/06 02:30 UTC and 07/06, 03:20 UTC to 07/06, 04:00 UTC that during the 1 hour that it took to resolve the issue 12% of customers experienced errors loading Application insights data in Azure and App Analytics portals.
- Root Cause: This is due to an issue in one of our back-end services, which is responsible for data retrieval.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
We are aware that Application Insights is experiencing errors while accessing data in Azure portal and Application Analytics. Root cause has been isolated to one of our back-end services which is responsible for data retrieval. To address this issue we are taking the necessary mitigation actions. Some customers may experience data access failures till the issue is completely mitigated.
