Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 06/19 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 06/19, 01:10 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on M/D, 12:40 UTC and that during the 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue approximately 7% of customers experienced errors loading Application Insights data in Azure and App Analytics portals..
  • Root Cause: The failures were due to issues in one of our backend services, which is responsible for data retrieval.
