We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/18, 13:55 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/18, 13:30 UTC and that during the 25 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 5% of customers experienced Data Access Issues in the Azure Portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
  • Lessons Learned: We collected the necessary logs from the impacted nodes for the further investigation.
