Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 11/17 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 11/17, 11:40 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 11/17, 10:45 UTC and that during the 55 Minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers might have experienced data access issues while accessing their resources through azure portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent platform services.
  • Lessons Learned: We have collected required telemetry data during the impact period which we will utilize to avoid such re-occurrences in future.
