Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Request Data Type – 11/07 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 11/08, 00:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 11/05, 02:30 UTC and that during the 70 hours that it took to resolve the issue some of the customers were unable to view or download web test results.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to the recent configuration changes in one of our back end services, which resulted in the issue.
  • Incident Timeline: 70 Hours & 15 minutes - 11/05, 02:30 UTC through  11/08, 00:45 UTC

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
