Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Availability Data Type – 08/26 – Resolved

Between 08/26 9:00 PM UTC and 08/26 9:30 PM UTC, limited number of customers may have experienced errors accessing search due to an issue in one of our back end components. We understand the root cause of the issue as related to a recent configuration changes to this component.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to changes in the configuration in one of the back end components
  • Lessons Learned: We are investigating additional improvements to internal telemetry to speed diagnosis and tooling to aid in implementation of quicker mitigation of the errors.
