Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 06/22 – Resolved

Some customers may have experience failures in querying Application Analytics. We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/22, 07:39 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 6/22, 06:43 UTC and that during the 56 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers would have experienced issues.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issue with our back end infrastructure that caused a very minor group of query failures.
  • Lessons Learned: We have collected logs that we will use to further diagnose the issue and work on improvements that will reduce incidents like this in the future.
