Experiencing Alerting failure for Availability Data Type – 06/17 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 06/17, 12:30 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 06/17, 10:00 UTC and that during the 2 hours 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue small subset  of customers having availability tests configured from Amsterdam region would have experienced alerting issue.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues with networking device in the impacted region.
  • Lessons Learned: We will be working with the partner team to investigate the root casue of this issue and possible ways to avoid such impact.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Very small subset customers may experience Alerting issues for availability tests configured from Amsterdam location. We have confirmed that impact is currently limited to only 1 region and all other regions are working fine.The following data types are affected: Availability.
