Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 06/04 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 06/04, 11:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 06/04, 09:15  UTC and that during the 1 hour and 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers would have experienced failures in querying Application Analytics.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to failures in one of the back end service.
  • Lessons Learned: We have collected logs that we will use to further diagnose the issue and work on improvements that will reduce incidents like this in the future.
