Experiencing Analytics Query Issues in Azure Portal – 05/22 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 5/22, 09:40 AM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 5/22, 08:00 AM UTC and that during the 1 Hour & 40 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some of our customers experienced issue in Analytics Query.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues in our back-end services which support Analytics. Once the back-end service recovered our services started working fine as earlier.
  • Lessons Learned: Even the Occurrence of this type of issues are low but we pulled out sufficient information from this incident and will apply to avoid these failure in the future.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 Hour & 40 minutes - 5/22, 08:00 AM UTC through 5/22, 09:40 AM UTC
