We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 5/20, 10:39 AM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 5/18, 04:00 AM UTC and that during the 2 Days & 6 hours that it took to resolve the issue where possibly some customers would have experienced latency issues with Create/Update with Webtests and Alertrules. Create/Delete and Update operations were successful during the time period.

- Root Cause: The failure was due to queued up operations on our dependent services which came down after we took necessary mitigation steps.
- Lessons Learned: We have collected necessary logs and identified steps to be taken to avoid these kind of scenarios in future.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience issues in creation Webtests and Alertrules. Webtests and Alertrules which were already created would not have any impact.
