Experiencing Data Gaps for Many Data Types – 05/18 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 5/18, 10:24 AM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 5/18, 7:50 AM UTC and that during the 2 hours 34 minutes that it took to resolve the issue most of the customers would have experienced data loss for all the data types .
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to spikes of ingress data in our back-end services.
  • Lessons Learned: We have collected telemetry logs and identified steps to be taken to avoid these kind of scenarios in future.
