Experiencing Data Latency for Multiple Functional Areas – 03/11 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/11, 23:50 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 3/11, 22:07 UTC and that during the 01:43  hours that it took to resolve the issue some customers may have experienced data latency.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to a maintenance\upgrade of an upstream service.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience Data Latency. The following data types are affected: Availability,Dependency,Exception,Page Load,Page View,Request.
The issue was caused by maintenance activity on one of our upstream services. There is no latency for the data at the head of the queue. The backlog that was created during the impact windows is getting processed and recovering consistently.
