Experiencing Data Latency for Many Data Types – 01/04 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 1/4, 13:16 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 1/4, 07:35 UTC and that during the 5 hours & 40 minutes that it took to resolve the issue small percentage of customers experienced data latency and data gaps.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to dependent service of Processing Infrastructure.
  • Lessons Learned: Additional Telemetry data has been collected to investigate this issue further and drive improvements.

Root cause has been isolated to an issue with the backend processing infrastructure, where some systems stopped processing incoming data. Processing is now working as expected. Some customers may continue to experience data latency and we estimate 4 hours before all latency is addressed.
