Experiencing Data Latency for Many Data Types – 11/16 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 11/17, 06:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 11/16, 19:37 UTC and that during 10 hours & 23 Minutes that it took to resolve the issue small percentage of customers experienced data gaps in multiple data types.
  • Root Cause: Root cause has been isolated to memory pressure within one of our backend services which was impacting multiple data types. We have deployed a hotfix to address this issue.

Root cause has been isolated to memory pressure within one of our backend services which was impacting multiple data types. To address this issue we have deployed a hotfix to help reduce the memory pressure as well as scaled out our backlog processing in order to speed up the mitigation. Multiple data types continue to have data gaps with latency over 2 hours until our backlog processing can catch up. Current data is not latent since 11/16/2015 20:20 UTC.
