Experiencing Data Latency for Many Data Types – 10/16 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/17, 03:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/17, 21:20 UTC and that during the six hours that it took to resolve the issue, a subset of our customers would have seen a gap in their data ingested between 10/16 21:20 UTC and 10/16 22:30 UTC.

Root Cause: The failure was root caused to a fault in our monitoring system.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience a gap in the data ingested between 10/16 21:20 UTC and 10/16 22:30 UTC. We have put in place components to back fill this data gap. All future updates on this issue will be provided on this thread.
