Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure Portal – 7/16 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 7/16, 5:05 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 7/16, 3:28 UTC and that during the 1.5 hours that it took to resolve the issue customers experienced data access and latency of multiple data types.

Root Cause: The failure was due to unexpected reboots of some of our backend services.
