Experiencing slowness while creating AppInsight apps in Azure Preview Portal – 5/9 – Resolved

We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 5/9, 04:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 4/21, 00:00 UTC and that during the incident window, a very small subset of our customers would have faced random instances of slowness while creating AppInsight apps in Azure Preview Portal

Root Cause: The failure was due to performance degradation in one of our back end services.
Chance of Reoccurrence: Medium
Lessons Learned: We are working on a fix in the short tem which will address this and similar issues.
