On Tuesday, December 13th 2016, we started deploying another regular service update. We update production service instances in batches and it will take a take a few days for the rollout to complete.
Below is the list of the new features, improvements and bug fixes in this release.
- Today we announce the public preview of SOAP to REST support. Customers can create a RESTful façade for their backend SOAP services – we transform the request and response using Azure API Management policies. For more information, see our SOAP to REST post.
- We now support the use of Liquid templates in our set-body policy. Customers can use templates to easily transform the response or request of an API call. For more detail, take a look at our SOAP to REST article.
Updates and fixes
- Loggers now support Properties – customers can store an Event Hub connection string in a property and use it when creating a Logger.
- Customer needing to move their Azure API Management instance across subscription or resource group will find that the operation takes longer than previously.
