On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, we started deploying another regular service update. We update production service instances in batches and it will take a take a few days for the rollout to complete.
Below is the list of the new features, improvements and bug fixes in this release.
- SOAP pass-through (preview). You can now host a façade for your SOAP-based APIs, gaining access to features such as developer portal, analytics and policies.
Updates and fixes
- We are now available in 2 more regions! Customers can now create Azure API Management instances in UK South 1 and UK West regions.
- To support large Swagger, WADL or WSDL files, the maximum file size for upload to the developer portal has been doubled to 10MB.
- APIs, operations, parameters, requests and responses can now be described using rich CommonMark markdown syntax. Edit the markdown in the publisher portal and developers will see rich formatting in the developer console.
