Old Guys and Outlook Contact Cards

I am not a huge fan of the contact card feature in Outlook 2010 and later. I find the old-fashioned, multi-tabbed dialog box far more functional and easier to read. Perhaps I am just old and resistant to change. Whatever the reason, I recently reached the end of my patience with the feature and decided to pursue the registry edits necessary to change it. Turns out, it's pretty easy to do. Just make the following changes in the current user hive of your registry. You're back to the Outlook of old and you can still bring up the contact card by pressing the actions button on your contact card.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\common\contactcard]
"TurnOnLegacyGALDialog"=dword:00000001
"TurnOffHoverFunctionality"=dword:00000001
