mix 07 day 3 - it's a wrap

I suppose I'm not done with my MIX '07 reports yet. Day 3 was interesting... Reverse chronologically :

  • I was waiting outside the Venetian to catch a cab to LAS when I saw 54375 people waiting in line to catch a cab to LAS. Needless to say, after a big conference, its going to be hard to catch a cab in Vegas. So I got to LAS, only to see 345057075 people waiting in line at the security checkpoint. And thank god, no seriously, thank you god for my United Premier status. I've finally realized what that thing is really worthcoz I breezed past that entire line and was done with security in less than a minute. So I was feeling good about everything and went to my gate and parked. And sitting next to me was Mike Chambers and crew from Adobe. Ha. I chatted with them briefly and we spoke about ApolloCamp. I don't know if they were worn out from the conference, or they were just beat by the amazing response that Silverlight had gotten from the press, but they seemed a little dejected. But then again, Mike is not like my best friend, so I don't know how he is.
  • I got to do some random interviews at MIX. Check'em out.
  • I was really amazed at how many people twitter. I don't twitter, and I have an extremely good reason for it (don't want to talk about it). I was checking out my homie Jeff Atwood's twitter log, and I noticed that I made the cut ;)
  • I was super impressed by this mashup app that Karsten had created called 'Flitter' (stands for 'Facebook + Flickr + Twitter'). Check it...
