Test Automation Best Practices
Program Overview:
When defining and implementing a test automation strategy it is important to consider the organization’s test maturity level. A testing methodology must be in place before automation can be implemented successfully. This presentation will go into automation prerequisites and how to effectively use test automation with the goals of maintainability, flexibility and reusability.
Topics to be covered include:
- Defining the goals of automation
- Choosing a framework,
- What tests should be automated
- How to automate testing.

Dan Amin, Sogeti USA LLC
Dan is experienced in all phases of the software development lifecycle, but is mainly dedicated to software test automation, including web-based, client/server, and mainframe applications. Currently his primary focus is working with clients to define and implement test automation strategies to best fit their testing needs.
