I have gotten a number of emails wondering what the heck happened to the user group in Chicago. Have no fear, it is not gone. We were put on hiatus by a) an issue with the last web-site that caused us to have to look for new hosting and b) the launch event which has pulled me in several directions. We will be meeting again in April to get an overview of Teamprise, the TFS plug-in that runs on Linux or Mac (you heard right, Linux and Mac!!). Teamprise 3.0 was also just released, there are some cool new features to see. If you have never heard of it, Teamprise allows non-Microsoft platform users, even Java developers running Eclipse, to get the Team Explorer functionality. Cool huh?
Meeting is tentatively schedule for April 23rd. Pop me an email if you are not on our distribution list so we can send you the details once we have them. And be sure to bring your non-Microsoft buddies so they can see how this will help them too 🙂 See you in April!
