Upstate New York Road Trip – November 2010

I’m in my first month here as the Academic Developer Evangelist of New York, and I’m already on the road! I’m headed out to be involved with several workshops for students that are being held for XNA, Windows Phone 7 and more, as well as visiting several other colleges around the place to meet up with people.

  • November 18 (late afternoon) to 19 (noon) – Rochester, NY

  • November 21-23 – Penn State (Altoona/State College), PA

I’m particularly keen to talk about Imagine Cup and Windows Phone 7/Xbox 360 development but happy to just meet people in the area. Since Imagine Cup world finals are going to be held (not just in the US, but) New York City I am very hopeful that we can find some great teams from the area to show the rest of the world that technology education is top ranked here.
