PowerPivot TechCenter

So in PowerPivot User Education, we're regularly approached by someone who says something like, "You know what would be great? If there was a place where I could go to see all the PowerPivot videos, get the latest PowerPivot news, find links to all the other PowerPivot social sites, see what TechNet Wiki articles on PowerPivot have been published recently, and find out about PowerPivot books, blogs, Help, and samples... basically a hub or portal of all things PowerPivot. That would be great."

And then we take a deep breath and answer as humbly and quietly as possible, "Have you been to the PowerPivot TechCenter?"

Perhaps the name "PowerPivot for Excel (Business Intelligence)" makes it hard to find. Maybe nobody can find it because it's under BI in lists, and BI isn't where people might expect to find it. Do you have any ideas how to help us increase the TechCenter's visibility? (Please leave a comment or send us feedback.)

I'm not sure the reason why many people haven't found it, but regardless, it's there and it's been there for awhile. We'd love to have you check it out. Our Tech Writer, Michele Hart, runs it.

I'd also like to point out that most of those sections have an RSS feed button on them, so you can set up an RSS subscription to find out about the latest PowerPivot videos, news, downloads, and TechNet Wiki topics!

Please leave a comment or send us any feedback you may have about the TechCenters (to send feedback in a non-public way, you can click the Email Blog Author link on the right).

We also have some other great Analysis Services TechCenters that we'd love to have you visit:

And then you also might find some other interesting sites on the main SQL Server TechCenter: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/default

Thank you!
