As this is my very first blog entry on MSDN, I thought I would start it out by introducing myself to my readers. Okay, as of this moment, I have zero readers. I am hoping that that will change and that this blog will be a useful resource to HD DVD application developers.
My name is Amy Dullard and I am a program manager in the HD DVD group at Microsoft. I have been at Microsoft for all of 2.5 days as of this post. Up until the end of the day of this past friday, I was writing advanced applications for HD DVD for some of the major movie studio titles, which I had been doing for the past year and a half.
The goal of my blog is to guide programmers and web developers who have never worked with HDi before on how they start writing applications for HD DVD. And, to provide tutorials and samples on how to use some of the more interesting advanced features. I am open to suggestions, so if there is a topic that I haven’t covered that you would like to see, please let me know.
Now, on with the show…
