CSTA Leadership Cohort Workshop

I saw this announcement on the AP CS mailing list recently and thought it might be of interest to some of my readers.

The Computer Science Teacher's Association is looking for recommendations for computing teachers to come to the Leadership Cohort Workshop July 7-9th 2009.

We would like at least 2 attendees from each of the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Minnesota
  • Mississippi
  • Montana
  • New Hampshire
  • New Mexico
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Wyoming

You can self recommend. Please send Barb Ericson (ericson (at) cc.gatech.edu) an e-mail with your recommendations.

If you haven't joined the CSTA yet, I recommend that you do. Membership is free!

You can register at https://www.csta.acm.org. There is an excellent newsletter that is sent out to members with ideas for computing teachers as well as other resources on the web site.

All I really know about the workshop is what is above and what is available at the CSTA web site.
