Short Office Tutorials
Community Clips is a new (well new to me) site supported by Microsoft Office Labs that lets users create, upload, and view videos of how to do things using Microsoft Office. There is even a tool one can download and install to make creating screen capture videos easily. There are all sorts of videos there already that cover the full range of Microsoft Office products.
I am thinking that it may be a good educational experience for students to create their own videos to explain features to their peers. Combining peer teaching and a video creation experience may just be a good thing.
Obviously there are videos for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You may easily find some that you can use or learn from – I did. But the full list of products looks something like this:
- Access
- Accounting
- Clip Organizer
- Communicator
- Community Clips
- Excel
- Forms Server
- FrontPage
- Graph
- Groove
- InfoPath
- Live Communications Server
- Office Live
- OneNote
- Outlook
- PerformancePoint Server
- Picture Manager
- PowerPoint
- Project Server
- Project
- Publisher
- Sharepoint Designer
- Sharepoint Portal Server
- Sharepoint Server
- Small Business Accounting
- Visio
- Word
But I’d start at the home page and look around first. You can search in a number of ways to find what you want.
