Good Test Writing

Heusser is sad because his heroes haven’t been blogging lately (two of those have only blogged 2-3 times in the last year, so I’m not sure what he’s missing there).

The good news is that there’s plenty of great writing on test (and some great writing in general) – you just need to look elsewhere. If you haven’t read these testing blogs, go check them out now – they’re some of my favorites.

  • Abakas – great practical advice, and plenty of it.
  • Adam Goucher – he’s turned into a blogging machine lately and is full of ideas.
  • Marlena Compton – as a fan of metrics and data visualization, I can’t help but like her (Matt mentioned her blog too, but letting my readers know just in case …)
  • Practical QA – Linda doesn’t post that often, but she is one of the best writers in the blogosphere. She often seems to read my mind and create eloquent prose from my own personal chaos of thoughts – and she doesn’t even know me.

Try those 4 on for size and see if you can’t find something you didn’t know before – or something to make you think differently.

Finally, if I left your blog off of the list, it’s because I either hate you, or I think you’re a horrible writer. (kidding, of course – I just picked 4 of my favorites to share).
