Nostalgia

Yesterday, I visited my old college campus for a day long meeting (I recently joined the alumni board for the school of arts and humanities). The campus has changed so much since I went to school that it’s hard to be too nostalgic, but it’s always interesting to visit someplace where you spent a big chunk of your life. (I also wondered if I looked as young as the students do now, or if I’m just old).

I was blown away by how much the programs I was involved with have grown – in a way, I was jealous of the students and the fantastic opportunities they have.

What does this have to do with testing? Nothing really, but as I was driving home, I was thinking about how my education at CWU has contributed to my career as a software tester. I wrote a few posts in my head that I’ll transcribe over the next few days.

Could be cool…
