Help Microsoft User Research

I thought this might be interesting for some of you. My editorial comments are in maroon.

Software Test Professionals Needed for Microsoft User Research Study

Microsoft is conducting a usability study in order to gain insight into how you would like some of your tools and products to function. The research team is looking for individuals who:

· Job Title of: Software Tester, Test Lead, or Test Manager (or any of the other assorted "test" titles you may have)

· Responsible for managing  or involved in working in a test lab environment

· Group/team must be responsible for testing software written by other groups in the same organization

If you are interested please email uccoord@microsoft.com with your name phone number and insert Test into the subject line.  Site visits are scheduled at your convenience between June 30th and July 14th with sessions lasting approximately two hours. (As far as I can tell, they are looking for people in the greater Seattle area - I didn't get a chance to follow up)

Each participant will receive a gift item they select from a list of some of Microsoft's most popular retail hardware and software titles.

That's all I know - I thought it was worth sharing. If you're not interested, just ignore this post.
